This year we have decided to do things a little differently.
After the the success of Vol. 1 we began to think of where The Domestique could go and what we really wanted it to be. We had such an amazing response to the first issue and so many creatives found their way on to our DM sharing their excitement for the publication and desire to collaborate with us. It was from this we started to develop the idea of TDM being an umbrella brand in which to house the talents of the creative and sporting community here in London and further afield. We want to document and share the stories of the ‘extra-ordinary Everyday’ Sports personality in the most beautiful way. Collaborating with the creatives within the community and giving them a blank canvas to tell these stories.
Throughout the Vol. 2 you will find stories on the everyday sports person achieving outstanding feats; from the David and Goliath story of Team KGF up against Team GB; to the less documented stories and communities such as Wild Water Swimming. We want to share the lesser heard. Document them with the use of some of the next generation sports photographers and writers. And lay them on the paper with some of the most exciting designers and illustrators in London.
